Giving Trees

A Blue Gum Eucalyptus, the crown jewel in our front yard for 70–90 years, is an endless source of joy and entertainment. Its branches are a stage for dancing hummingbirds, and the tree provides essential shade, purifies the air, and serves as a vital sanctuary for monarchs, migratory birds, and numerous pollinators. When it blooms, its alluring and irresistible fragrance fills the air.

Much like the iconic Lone Cypress sculpted by the rugged California coast, this eucalyptus is gently molded by the Santa Ana and Pacific winds that sweep through it. This timeless interaction between trees and coastal breezes shapes the landscape with graceful elegance. These majestic, wind-sculpted trees are irreplaceable and, along with the coastline, form the very essence of Del Mar’s enduring charm.
