Let There Be Light

A traffic light is coming to town at the intersection of Del Mar Heights Road and Mercado Drive. Mercado Drive is the street route leading toward the new Del Mar Heights School that opened August 2024 after settling years of squabbling and lawsuits.

Part of the structure, in the works since 2021 at a projected cost of $1,548,000, is in place. It is scheduled to be equipped with up to date technology and will include street signs and flashing beacons by mid 2026.
