DMCC would like to express our deepest gratitude to our Sustaining Members and Fall Benefit Sponsor households who made generous contributions this year as we celebrate the 2024 DMCC Fall Benefit “Trivia Night!” It is because of these community donations that DMCC is able to help Del Mar seniors live active and vibrant lives by offering transportation, education and social activities. DMCC Sustaining Members help to provide a predictable revenue stream that allows us to continue offering our current programs and budget for new programs and services well into the future. Do You Need Help Getting to the Polls?

The 2024 Election is fast approaching! You can choose when, where and how you vote! Elections are no longer a one-day event and there is no need to wait until Election Day to vote. You can vote in the comfort of your own home or visit a vote center near you. If you are enrolled in DMCC Essential Transportation Services and need help getting to the polls call the DMCC office at (858)792-7565 and we can help by providing a ride to your closest voting center or ballot drop box – because voting is essential!

Volunteer of the Month – October

DMCC’s Volunteer of the Month for October 2024 was Linda Pinney. Linda is DMCC’s Tech Coach who helps older adults with their technology needs such as navigating their smart devices, strengthening their online security, and more. Linda was nominated by DMCC’s Development Chair Judd Halenza when he witnessed her patiently helping a community member.
