2024 Fall Benefit Celebration!

Question: What event combines brain-teasing fun, exciting competition, and the chance to make a difference for seniors in your community?

Answer: DMCC’s 2024 Fall Benefit Celebration – Trivia Night!

Del Mar Community Connections 2024 Annual Fall Benefit will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2024 from 5 – 8pm at the Del Mar Civic Center. We have redesigned our signature Fall fundraiser to be more participatory and inviting to all members of our Del Mar community. We’re planning an event featuring delightful entertainment from the Trivia Goat, plus delicious food stations from Coast Catering – eat as much as you want! With an open wine and beer bar also, we hope you will join us for this fun evening – and that you will bring some friends!

DMCC is a private 501c3 nonprofit that relies on community donations to sustain our operations supporting seniors aging independently at home, and this event is key to those fundraising efforts. You can become a Fall Benefit Sponsor with a Leader gift of $1,500, a Champion gift of $3,000 or a Visionary gift with a donation of $5,000 or more. Each Fall Benefit Sponsor receives two included tickets, and will be listed as a key supporter at the event and in public promotions for the event. An individual ticket for the Fall Benefit costs $150 per person. Whether you opt to sponsor the event or buy an individual ticket, you must RSVP as soon as possible; the deadline is Oct. 10. Volunteer of the Month – September

DMCC’s Volunteer of the Month for September 2024 was Linda Chisari. Linda is a former DMCC board member and has led our longest-running activity, Singing Together, a monthly singalong that has met at Linda’s home for more than twenty years. Linda was nominated by Tuesday Lunch Connections (TLC) Captain and DMCC Board Secretary Phyllis Mirsky for playing piano at a recent TLC luncheon and leading the group in a singalong.
