While a graduate student at Berkeley, Art Olson created a series of 40+ postcards, each featuring a photo and a “punditty” (word play text) reflecting what his “sometimes wacky and unbounded life with an eclectic group of housemates and associated friends in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early 1970s.” Olson recently assembled these 50-year-old photo postcards into a book, “Off Your Rocker,” as a memento of those times.
