2nd Bivalent COVID Vaccine Booster Approved, Now Available at Local Pharmacies

Both the FDA and the CDC approved a second bivalent COVID vaccine booster this week for those over 65 or with compromised immune systems, and local pharmacies have begun giving shots to those eligible for the 2nd booster. If it has been more than 6 months since you got your first bivalent booster, now is the time to act. The bivalent booster contains mRNA for both the original strain and the Omicron strain circulating currently. The original vaccines targeting the 2020 variants will no longer be offered.
