Shore Master
Ann Gardner | Via Latina

Twenty-three people applied for seven positions on the Shores Master Plan Advisory Committee established by the Council to represent the community’s broad spectrum of interests in the City’s 5.3 acre park property on Ninth Street. Committee selection is expected to be completed this month. A Request for Proposal (RFP) to hire a professional to prepare a Master Plan that will include a blue print for future uses, cost estimates and an implementation plan that builds community consensus was released March 3. Responses are due April 11. Two members of the Plan Advisory Committee will be part of that selection process anticipated to be completed this summer. A copy of the RFP on the City’s website www.delmar.ca.us/documentcenter/view/908 provides complete details including interesting historical information about the site. Check Del Mar Sandpiper website for Committee selection updates.
